On Saturday 8th Dec our athletics squad attended the annual Loughborough open meet. We had athletes competing in the disciplines of 60m, high jump and long jump. Everyone gave 100% with nominations for performance of the day going to Tinashe, Sophie and Nicole, but the overall winner was Tinashe for his flying performance in the 60m. There was no question about dick of the day, which went to Ore. He forgot to even enter the competition, however his support was greatly appreciated. Overall a really positive outing for the athletics squad with strong performances but also things to work on before our next meet
